A drop in day is when your child attends on a day that they are not normally enrolled.

When are drop in days available?
It depends.
Sometimes our schedule has an ongoing hole in it (e.g. fewer than 16 children are enrolled on certain days of the week) and so we have a predicable opening. If this is the case, we are able to guarantee in advance a spot on certain dates.
Other times a child will be out – typically for vacation or sickness – and we can seamlessly slide another child into that spot. This flavor of availability happens with more spontaneity. NOTE: Please let us know when your child is going to be absent.
Who takes advantage of drop in days?
Families who have a child in the program for a 2-, 3-, or 4-day-a-week schedules occasionally need one more day of care. Drop ins are an excellent option for those needs.
